meeting with Greek Embassy in London

27 September meeting with Greek Embassy in London

IFIR officers Dashty Jamal and Aso Goran met Dimitrios Dochtis councillor at the Greek Embassy.

Dashty opened the meeting stating he would like to talk about lost Kurdish refugees.

IFIR has received DNA from Iraqi Kurdish families who have lost touch with family members.

We would like to pass the  DNA  to you to enable you to

  1. check against bodies you have found in the sea

    2.  check against people who are detained in refugee camps in Greece.

Finally I would like to ask you to arrange for IFIR representatives access to the refugee camps to enable IFIR representatives speak to the refugees.

Dimitrios said he would look into IFIR ‘s requests and respond in due course
