Come to protest the 1000 lashes and 10 year prison sentence of blogger Raif Badawi, convicted for insulting the Saudi Arabian government and accusations of insulting Islam.
Saudi Arabia is under mounting international pressure, and Badawi’s public flogging has been postponed more than once.
Now after the death of King Abdullah, we must remind the world of Saudi Arabia’s appalling human rights record (having been notorious for its treatment of women, LGBT people, Shias, atheists and critics of the government) and demand justice and freedom for the people of Saudi Arabia, and criticise the British government’s shameful support for their regime.
